Height Safety Solutions

Complete height-safety kits for rescue response, controlled descent, facade work, and pole access.

Jayco organizes this range around the way people actually work at height. Instead of asking a customer to select devices, ropes, connectors, edge protection, harnesses, and storage one by one, each kit brings the required working parts together so rescue teams, maintenance crews, and field technicians can understand the application, components, and safety purpose clearly.

JS 17010 - Jayco Power Rescue Device

JS 17010 is a controlled rescue-descent kit built around the Jayco Power Rescue Device. It is meant for emergency or planned rescue situations where the operator needs a dependable descent device, protected rope path, secure connectors, and a transportable accessory set ready in one kit.

Rescue technician using height safety kit equipment
Best suited for Controlled rescue descent with a full supporting accessory set.

This is a high-capacity rescue device for up to two persons. It supports controlled descent speed, wide rope compatibility, and an automatic redundant braking arrangement, while the rope grab, edge guard, lanyards, carabiner, and bag help teams manage edge transitions, victim release, equipment organization, and movement to the rescue point more confidently.

  • 225 kg capacity supports rescue use for up to 2 persons, helping teams plan for worker and rescuer load.
  • Approx. 0.8 m/sec descent speed helps keep lowering controlled and predictable.
  • Max descent height up to 500 meters covers demanding industrial rescue scenarios.

Rescue kit support details

  • JS 20038 Rope Grab: works as a catching and support device when a victim is close to an edge, helping the rescue setup manage release from the life line.
  • JS 20007 Edge Guard: protects the rope where it may contact a sharp or exposed edge, reducing abrasion risk during descent or rescue handling.
  • JS 20000 Carabiner: alloy-steel connector with 16 mm gate opening, 23 kN minimum breaking strength, and EN 362:2004 conformity for reliable attachment.
  • JS 19002 Webbing Lanyards: 44 mm polyester webbing lanyards support controlled connection points inside the rescue arrangement.
  • Inspection note: regular checks, annual testing, and seal-pack interval planning help keep the rescue device ready for emergency use.

JS 17011 - Rescue Kit with Power Drill

JS 17011 keeps the same rescue-device base as JS 17010 and extends it into an all-in-one descending, rescue, and lifting setup with the JS 26002 Power Drill Kit. It is suited for rescue plans where the team may need to lower a person, raise a person, or reposition load using assisted lifting support.

The main rescue-device specifications remain aligned with the standard Power Rescue Device, while the added JS 26002 kit introduces rechargeable power support for lifting tasks. This makes the kit easier to understand for sites that want one rescue package covering descent, rescue response, and powered lifting assistance.

  • All-in-one descender, rescue, and lifting device for more flexible rescue planning.
  • Same 225 kg / 2-person rescue platform as the standard Power Rescue Device kit.
  • Includes drill, rechargeable batteries, and charger for assisted lifting work.

Added Lifting Support Over JS 17010

  • The base rescue-device values stay aligned with the standard Power Rescue Device platform, so descent performance remains familiar.
  • The major difference is the JS 26002 Power Drill Kit, which adds assisted lifting support for rescue movement.
  • The power kit includes 2 rechargeable batteries and 1 charger, supporting repeated site readiness between uses.
  • It is ideal when the rescue method requires both descent and lifting capability without selecting a separate lifting package.

JS 17003 - Maintenance / Window Cleaning Kit

JS 17003 is a maintenance and window-cleaning kit for controlled descending work. It is centered on the Jayco Descender and combines working rope, fall-arrest support, body harness, podium chair, connector, and storage into one suspended-access setup for facade and industrial maintenance tasks.

Window cleaning descending kit application

The descender is a robust descender and belay device for rope access and rescue, with an application profile suited to industrial descending work. It supports easy rope feeding by the belayer, automatic locking when used correctly, and a dedicated descent handle so the operator can keep abseiling controlled during facade maintenance or window-cleaning work.

  • EN 341 rated load from 30 kg to 180 kg for controlled descent use.
  • Max descent height of 190 m for tall building and industrial access tasks.
  • 11 mm rope diameter keeps the device and rope selection clearly matched.

Descender behavior in use

  • The descender is described as a robust descender and belay device.
  • Its application areas make it suitable for rope access and rescue work.
  • The model's cam movement is especially suitable for industrial use.
  • The descent handle is intended to keep abseiling secured and controlled.

Pole Access Kit

JS 17006 - Pole Climbing Kit with FRP Rod

JS 17006 is a pole-climbing kit for crews working on poles and similar elevated structures. It combines a foldable FRP rod, scaffold hook, rope ladder, fall arrester, polyamide rope, harness, and storage bag so field teams can plan pole access with the reach, climbing support, and fall-arrest connection in one package.

This kit is built around practical field access. The FRP rod helps place or manage the access arrangement, the rope ladder supports climbing, the fall arrester and rope provide guided protection, and the harness keeps the worker connected throughout the movement.

  • Foldable FRP rod up to 10 m helps support access setup from ground or lower-level positions.
  • 10 meter rope ladder provides the climbing path for pole and similar elevated access work.
  • Fall arrester for 14 mm polyamide rope keeps worker protection tied to a compatible rope system.

Fall arrester and harness notes

  • The rope-grab fall arrester helps protect the worker during ascent or descent on a compatible rope line.
  • It is useful where the work position changes and the worker needs guided rope movement instead of a fixed short connection.
  • Zinc plating helps protect the fall arrester from corrosion during outdoor and field use.
  • The gravity pin helps prevent the fall arrester from being fed or loaded upside down during setup.
  • The harness uses adjustable shoulder and leg straps, dual-color differentiation, and two front textile loops for easier connection to the fall arrester.
